Bhuigaon Beach, located along the Vasai coastline, offers a fascinating window into the world of intertidal ecosystems — the unique habitat that exists between high and low tide. During low tide, the retreating sea reveals patches of sand, rocks, and small tide pools where a surprising variety of marine life can be observed.

In these brief windows, tiny crabs scuttle across the shore, shells and molluscs cling to rocks, and small marine organisms find shelter in pools of seawater left behind by the tide. These species have developed remarkable adaptations to survive the constant changes in water levels, temperature, and waves.
