About the event
Nature Discovery Walk at Model Colony Lake Bio-reserve
(for children above 7 & parents)
Tucked into the heart of Pune, Model Colony Lake is a much-loved neighbourhood water body ringed by old trees, shaded walking paths, and quiet corners of native vegetation. During the monsoon the lake fills up and the surrounding greenery thickens, drawing in birds, insects, and other small creatures that make this compact urban habitat surprisingly rich.
Join educator Sanjeev Jagtap for a guided Nature Discovery Walk (NDW) that encourages children and parents to slow down, observe, and experience the changing rhythms of nature during the monsoon season. As you walk the paths around the Lake, you'll discover native trees and plants, spot waterbirds and insects, and notice the many small interactions that make this urban lake ecosystem so vibrant and important.
A refreshing outdoor experience — perfect for families who enjoy exploring, learning, and reconnecting with…
