Experience Vetal Tekdi at its most vibrant on a guided Herbs and Grasses Walk with nature educator Bhushan Shigwan on 27th September 2026. As the monsoon draws towards its close, the hill is still covered with tiny, short-lived plants that appear only during this fleeting window of the year — and this is one of the last chances to see them before they vanish.

Some tiny plants grow only in the monsoon. They sprout with the first couple of showers, put out leaves and stems within a couple of weeks, and flower soon after, producing little fruits and seeds that will lie dormant until the next monsoon.
