Nestled along a river and surrounded by forest habitat, Maharaj Bagh/Nagpur River is a place where natural history still quietly lives on. Old-growth trees, layered forest vegetation, flowing water, and rich birdlife come together to create a landscape shaped by time, seasons, and generations of life. This riverside forest holds stories of both ecology and heritage.
Join our educators Prachi Mahurkar, Madhuri Kanitkar and Pradyumna Sahasrabhojanee for a guided Nature Heritage Walk that invites children and adults to slow down and explore this living archive. As you walk along forest paths and river edges, you’ll observe towering old trees, notice plants that have grown here for decades, spot birds and insects that depend on these habitats, and learn how rivers and forests have supported life over long periods of time.
